At the Innovate Pain Clinic we help pain sufferers manage their pain effectively, without drugs or surgery.
We work with chronic pain using current pain science and our own technology.
Chronic pain affects thousands of Australians, many of whom have tried numerous surgical and chemical options unsuccessfully.
One in five Australians (of all ages) suffers from pain One in three Australians over the age of 65 suffers from pain.

We made our treatment program affordable for everyone.

No medication, no drugs side effect, no addiction.

No invasive surgery and physical harm.
Isn’t this just virtual reality to distract me from the pain?
No. Distraction takes your attention off pain for as long as it lasts, then the pain returns unchanged. We use immersive technology as a treatment, not a distraction — a structured experience designed to work on the nervous-system patterns that generate pain in the first place.
I’ve seen a psychologist about my pain. Is this psychology?
It is led by clinical expertise in how the brain and nervous system produce pain, but it is not talk therapy. Psychological support focuses on coping, stress, and your relationship with pain. Our aim is different: to work on the pain-producing pattern itself, rather than on how you cope with it.
Why would this work when nothing else has?
We cannot promise a result, and we will not — anyone who claims they can fix long-standing pain should be treated with caution. Most of what you have likely tried asked you to change your understanding, your thinking, your movement or your coping, in the hope your nervous system would follow. If that has not worked, it may be because the change needs to happen at the level of the nervous system directly. The free assessment is where we work out honestly whether it is likely to help you.
